This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about food, customer service, and teamwork. **Responsibilities** - Maintain a clean and organized environment in the kitchen and dining area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. - Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a fast-paced café and grocery store setting. - Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and maintaining a balanced cash drawer. - Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns in a friendly and professional manner. - Stock shelves with grocery items, manage inventory, and assist with restocking as needed. - Assist with bussing tables, clearing tables, and maintaining a clean and tidy dining area. - Maintain a thorough understanding of our menu and its components, including food allergies and dietary restrictions. - Work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to the overall success of the business. - Stay up-to-date on sales and inventory management, utilizing retail math skills to optimize sales and minimize waste. **Qualifications** - Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a kitchen or food service role. - Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers. - Familiarity with food preparation and presentation, as well as food safety and handling practices. - Ability to lift and move items, including heavy boxes and equipment, and to work in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency with cash registers and basic retail math skills. - A passion for working in a team environment and contributing to the success of the business. **Skills** - Experience in a kitchen or food service role - Knowledge of food preparation and presentation - Strong customer service skills - Ability to lift and move items - Proficiency with cash registers - Basic retail math skills - Experience in a grocery store or retail environment - Familiarity with food safety and handling practices - Experience in a café or restaurant setting - Food industry experience - Food service experience
