As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our food service area. Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
• Prepare and serve food items according to established standards and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the café area, including dining spaces and kitchen equipment.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist in bussing tables and clearing dishes to maintain an organized dining environment.
• Support kitchen staff with food preparation and other culinary tasks as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines for food handling.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in a café or food service setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is beneficial.
• Basic math skills for cash register operations and transactions are essential.
• A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are necessary for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
