Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Dyslexia Teacher for a full-time position in Sherman, TX. This role involves teaching small group classes focused on improving reading skills for students with dyslexia and related learning disabilities. Training in Reading Horizons will be provided.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Deliver specialized reading instruction to small groups of students.
  • Implement Reading Horizons and Take Flight programs effectively.
  • Adapt lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student group.
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure student success.
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly.

Qualifications :

  • Valid Special Education Teaching Certification.
  • Willingness to undergo training in Reading Horizons.
  • Experience working with students with learning disabilities in reading preferred.
