Bleckley Memorial Hospital seeks a diligent individual to perform cleaning of all patient/resident care and public areas in the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Sanitize and disinfect work throughout the hospital and patient care areas, exam rooms, waiting rooms, restrooms, offices, meeting rooms, etc.
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as trash/recycling/biohazard removal, dusting, wet wiping, glass cleaning, vacuuming, spotting, polishing, and mopping.
- Add and perform sections of 'Detail Cleaning' such as wiping ceiling vents, high/low dusting, wiping furniture, edge vacuuming, and baseboard cleaning.
- Perform basic equipment care, checks for wear and damage on assigned equipment.
- Comply with department quality standards.
- Stay current and knowledgeable on proper disinfection practices and infection control requirements for infection reduction.
- Observe and inspect assigned areas for maintenance and security needs and report needed repairs as soon as possible.
- Keep paper and chemical supplies stored in work rooms neat and organized.
- Keep Housekeeping cart clean and stocked.
