Role Description
Blend is seeking an experienced and charismatic presenter/event host to become the face of our growing New York community. As the Community Guide, you will embody the spirit and values of Blend, ensuring that our events and engagements leave a lasting impact on our members. This part-time role is perfect for a confident communicator with a strong presence, a passion for bringing people together, and the ability to create meaningful connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Engagement: Act as a local ambassador for Blend, building relationships with members and ensuring they feel connected to the community.
- Event Hosting: Serve as the primary host for Blend events in New York, including dinners, masterclasses, and networking sessions. Facilitate meaningful discussions and ensure members feel engaged and included.
- Facilitation: Guide conversations during events, ensuring alignment with Blend's mission to foster cross-functional collaboration and innovation.
- Preparation: Work closely with the Blend team to understand event themes and objectives, and prepare content or talking points to enhance member experiences.
- Advocacy: Representing the Blend Brand sharing, promoting and inviting prospective members into the community.
- Feedback: Gather insights from members during and after events, relaying valuable feedback to the Blend team to refine future engagements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a presenter, host, or facilitator, preferably in professional or executive settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with C-level executives and leaders from diverse industries.
- Be a super-connector - A genuine passion for fostering connections and creating memorable experiences.
- Comfortable guiding high-level conversations and maintaining a professional yet approachable demeanor.
- Availability to attend and host Blend events in New York, typically during evenings or other peak times.
