Sanitation Technician

Expanding Hattiesburg Food Manufacturer seeking a long term employee as a Sanitation Technician. We will have two openings in this role.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent a plus but not required.
• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe Facility/Warehouse environment.
• Performs the job following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Remove all trash and debris from the production area, warehouse and dock areas, outside areas, and FFP building.
• Clean up any spills of product or other foreign matter.
• Operate walk behind scrubber, vacuums and other equipment.
• Clean warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors, etc.
• Clean facility building, grounds, lighting, parking lots, etc.
• Sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and locker rooms.
• Follow the daily schedule as assigned by the supervisor to ensure a continuous sanitation maintenance program.
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
• The employee may have to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Sanitizing, disinfecting, and cleaning procedures in place.
• Climbing a ladder may be required
• Filling out daily, weekly, monthly checklist and ensure they are done correctly.

Experience:

• Previous sanitation experience within a warehouse environment, highly preferred!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
