Job Description: Independent Contractor - Auto Parts Courier (Auto Part Delivery)

Position Summary:
You are required to have your own high roof Sprinter or Cargo van.
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Auto Parts Courier to transport automotive parts and equipment between suppliers, warehouses, and customers. The role requires timely deliveries, excellent customer service, and safe handling of all items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick-Up and Delivery:
- Collect and deliver auto parts, tools, and equipment to specified locations.
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to customers, repair shops, and dealerships.
- Loading and Unloading:
- Safely load and unload items to prevent damage during transportation.
- Verify all items against delivery orders and invoices.
- Route Management:
- Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS or other navigation tools to minimize delivery times.
- Communicate with dispatch for route updates or delivery issues.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Operate and maintain the company vehicle in a clean and safe condition.
- Report any vehicle issues or needed repairs to the supervisor.
- Customer Interaction:
- Provide excellent customer service and handle any questions or concerns professionally.
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Handle all auto parts, including heavy or fragile items, with care.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is preferred.
- Knowledge of auto parts and equipment is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Basic understanding of automotive parts (preferred).
- Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
