Job Description
The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the retail team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to boost sales, maintain stock levels, and improve customer relationships.
- Collaborate with the Store General Manager to manage House Account orders, customer relationships, and inventory replenishment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, process special orders, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure store appearance and cleanliness meet standards, manage display and signage, and oversee supply ordering.
- Coordinate pre-inventory preparations, including staff assignments, product bundling, and labeling non-scan products.
- Implement Loss Prevention and Safety measures, enforce operational controls, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Supervise shifts, manage payroll, create schedules, and assign tasks to staff members.
- Conduct interviews for open positions, resolve associate issues, and provide training on Blick Onboarding Training, Sales Training Program, and promotional events.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals, coordinate marketing programs, and ensure compliance with National Marketing initiatives.
- Monitor store finances, use annual budgets, and review Profit & Loss reports to optimize financial performance.
