Your Role...
Government agencies, businesses, and professional artists are among Blick’s diverse customer base. The Business Account Specialist provides support to these customers through quotes, contracts, and other open account services with the primary goal of fostering and growing these relationships. This individual will pursue further growth and customer acquisition through outreach, tradeshows and other marketing efforts. If you are service oriented, have a professional, yet personable, demeanor, are effective in making professional connections, and possess business math and communication competencies, you have the tool kit to succeed in this role. While generally in office, hybrid days and light business travel for conferences and meetings are added benefits. O pportunities for advancement exist for dedicated, goal-minded, and effective team members. This position provides a guaranteed salary with potential incentive bonus and is not commissioned.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-order customer support such as quotes, product specifications, and account set up.
- Research customer prospects and perform outreach via phone and email.
- Analyze account sales and prospect lists to identify retention and growth opportunities.
- Exhibit at tradeshows - some lifting required; infrequent overnight travel required.
- Other related responsibilities as assigned.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8a to 4:30p with Overtime as needed
Skills/Qualifications:
- Preferred – Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, art, or comparable field
- Required – Associate’s degree plus two years related work history or High School diploma plus five years related work history.
- Honed interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, to cultivate customer relationships and facilitate networking.
- Goal driven, tenacious and resilient in outreach and other short and long-term efforts
- Ability to prioritize workload and perform with high efficiency while maintaining detail and accuracy
- Competency in Microsoft Office tools including ability to create, edit, and perform functional calculations using Excel.
- Good typing and 10-key skills
- Analytical skills and math competency
Pay Rate: The pay range below is provided in compliance with state/city specific laws. This pay range applies to this location. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
- $43,000-$50,000 per year, negotiable based on experience, plus incentives
