What are the responsibilities and job description for the Millwork CNC Operator position at Bliffert Lumber?
Primary responsibilities of Millwork CNC Operator.
Must have experience with AutoCAD.
Microsoft office computer skills are also required for Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Training will be provided in-house; the ability to learn on the go will also be required.
CNC training will also be provided.
Ability work read work orders and plans from draftsman.
Communicate with the shop office with any construction methods as needed.
Daily/weekly cleaning of the machine is required.
Knowledge in construction methods of custom cabinetry and architectural millwork is preferred.
Must be able to communicate verbally and possess good writing skills.
Communicate with shop foreman.
Communicate with shop office.
Communicating with shop assemblers as needed.
Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. sheet goods may be required.
Understanding of a mechanical background is not mandatory but preferred for this position.
Additional job duties to be determined by Manager
Requirements for this position are:
- Must be organized in documentation:
- Requires filling out daily time slips.
- Requires filling out reporting all inventory to supervisors
- Direct reports are to Cabinet Manager and Branch oversight.
- This position requires organization for job folders, plan sets, work orders, and order forms.
- Overall, a good attitude and willingness to work with other is mandatory.
- Ability to work alone or in a team setting.
- Hours- Monday thru Thursday 6am-4:30pm - Full-time position
- Overtime may occur from time to time to meet deadlines if needed.
