Must be detail oriented, a quick learner, and motivated. This is a 12 month, benefits eligible position. Blinn College pays 100% of health insurance for full time employees, 50% for dependents, and two times your annual salary in life insurance benefits. Principal Accountabilities
1. Builds course schedules in Banner for Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
2. Register all veterinary technology students for all semesters.
3. Ensure accuracy of program information on program’s website.
4. Create and maintain all programmatic student and accreditation files.
5. Receive and process applications for each application period.
6. Coordinate, prepare handouts, issue parking permits for information sessions.
7. Coordinate and prepare requests for new faculty and staff parking permits, identification tags, computer, phone, and keys.
8. Attend and record minutes for faculty/staff, Advisory, Curriculum, and Admission committees.
9. Meet with prospective students to discuss program requirements during orientation and refer students to appropriate advisor if necessary.
10. Gather, process and evaluate programmatic admission paperwork.
11. Prepare and organize program pinning and graduation activities.
12. Manage Division’s space use by correctly allocating resources.
13. Assist with Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, and other division student issues.
14. Prepare purchase requisitions, travel expense request, employ travel reports, and other budgetary functions.
15. Complete building requests for equipment repairs or any building problems involving classrooms, offices, labs, and provide follow-up to ensure issues are resolved.
16. Take inventory and restock the division’s office supplies.
17. Assist program director with scheduling of meetings and maintain calendar invites for office efficiency and effectiveness.
18. Send out graduate and employer graduate surveys. Collect, report, and provide data to the program director.
19. Assist in compiling student data from Banner, CastleBranch, and SaltHouse database systems for the program director.
20. Other duties as assigned.
