We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist/CSR to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling payments. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about animals and is committed to providing the best care possible.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phones and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar.
- Handle payments and other financial transactions accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of patient visits, treatments, medications, etc.

Welcome to Bliss Family Veterinarian, a progressive veterinary practice start-up (non-corporate)located at State Road 54 and Oakstead in Lutz, FL. Our animal hospital is tentatively scheduled to open in July 2023 and located in a newly-built, 2000 sqft, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital. Our veterinary team will service the Odessa and Land O Lakes area of Pasco County. We provide optimum standards of care with our pet heath care services which begins with a compassionate, team-oriented, and highly-skilled staff.
Now Hiring: Veterinary Technicians/Assistants (Experienced, 2 years)
Level of experience: Prefer prior experience working in a veterinary practice
Hours of Operation: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8am - 6:00pm

Candidates for Veterinary Technician Must Be Able to Meet the Requirements Described Below:
- Adhere to all expectations outlined in our General Policies Standards
- Experience in eVet Practice software preferred, yet not required
- Possess excellent customer services skills in-person and on the telephone
- Be efficient, courteous, polite, and helpful to all clients under all conditions and at all times.
- Be a team-player in all aspects of our practice operations
- Able to place an IV catheter and perform jugular blood draws
- Familiarity with IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment preferred
- Have the ability to work in the capacity of surgical tech with anesthesia experience
- Able to clean surgical instruments under sanitary protocols and operate an autoclave
- Technical experience with pet dental cleaning and polishing
- Able to assist with both DR radiographs and digital dental X-rays
- Provide technical assistance/prepping reference laboratory samples
- Support veterinarians while in the examination room with clients
- Assist with all aspects of veterinarian-directed care in our treatment areas including wound care, bandaging, nail trims, anal gland expressions, ear cleaning, and post-operative follow-up care.
- Must be able to clearly communicate doctor’s directives with clients
- Able to speak with clients regarding pre and post-surgical instructions, patient discharges and follow-ups.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
