Position Summary:
This position will collaborate with hotel & restaurant management, sales & marketing and Block 22 management to help develop print and web-based materials for a wide variety of projects. The ideal candidate will be skilled at and have experience with the Adobe Suite (including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) computer software for production and design projects, as well as digital and print based mediums and have previous experience in a professional graphic design setting, including a portfolio of demonstrated work. Candidates should also have the ability to balance departmental needs through communication and organization in order to meet stated deadlines and complete projects in a timely manner.
Requirements
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Plan and execute print advertising for all properties.
- Work with internal staff to develop sales collateral and handouts for clients.
- Help develop posts for all social media channels.
- Maintain consistent branding across all materials per brand.
- In charge of printing in house or finding printing business for all properties.
- Making edits/updating existing collateral.
- Creating new ways to promote the properties jointly and individually.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with required software, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
- A strong eye for visual composition.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Ability to work well with a team and creatively brainstorm.
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements and multimedia design.
