Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in litigation. This role requires excellent legal research and drafting skills, as well as the ability to negotiate and litigate effectively on behalf of our clients. The Associate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys to provide high-quality legal services while contributing to the growth and success of our firm. Three to Five years experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients' cases.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases to develop effective legal strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- Strong knowledge of litigation.
- Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to litigate effectively in court.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual caseloads.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
