The Role
You'll own the paid marketing channel strategy that sits outside of our always-on growth program; you'll be tasked with winning the attention of untapped audiences and converting them into meaningful drivers of Cash App's next chapter of growth.
This role is designed for someone who is comfortable in uncharted territories, and gets excited about driving incremental growth through 0 to 1 initiatives. You'll bring a mix of tactical resourcefulness, curiosity, and inventive problem-solving to identify whitespace opportunities and turn early experiments into scalable growth strategies.
You Will
- Design paid marketing experimentation campaigns that aim to unlock new audiences and emerging channels as tactical levers for our growing performance marketing program
- Quickly develop and refine creative and media approaches in close partnership with data science, analytics, and creative teams-turning early ideas into scalable, high-performing campaigns
- Build proof-of-concept summaries that turn early test results into compelling proposals-earning buy-in to scale new tactics into always-on growth programs
- Work with internal and external partners to design holistic measurement strategies for emerging platforms and initiatives-ensuring we capture the meaningful signals needed to establish long-term value
- Stay tapped into evolving trends across channels, platforms, and consumer behavior-bringing a challenger mindset and industry-leading ideas to the table
You Have
- Performance Marketing Foundation:3-5 years of experience executing performance campaigns across paid channels, ideally with hands-on experience building something from the ground up
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Operates with a test-and-learn mindset and thrives in ambiguity-creative, scrappy, and obsessed with finding signal in the noise
- Audience Discovery & Strategy: Skilled in targeting, segmentation, and message testing to uncover and scale new user cohorts
- Experimentation Expertise: Comfortable designing tests and iterating quickly-combining data with intuition to identify what works and what doesn't
- Data & Reporting Skills: Ability to work closely with analytics and data science to inform strategy. Must have hands-on experience manipulating your own data (SQL or Excel) and visualizing it (Tableau, Mode, Looker, or similar platforms)
- Strategic Storytelling & Influence: Communicates insights clearly and persuasively, especially with non-marketing stakeholders-earning buy-in and driving action
- Market Awareness: Deep curiosity and awareness of the evolving media and marketing landscape, with a proactive approach to applying new ideas and trends
- Collaborative Mindset: Brings good energy, low ego, and a collaborative spirit-someone who thrives on shared wins and makes the work better (and more inspiring) for everyone around them
