Job Title : Cloud Architect
Location : Hybrid Seattle, WA (On-site meetings 2-3x per week)
Duration : 12 Months Contract
Pay Rate : $83.35 / hr - $100 / hr
Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead a critical cloud migration project focused on transitioning from VMware to Hyper-V . This role involves managing the technical strategy , overseeing Azure cloud solutions , and ensuring the successful migration of key systems, including CRM software. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Azure cloud architecture and Microsoft environments while effectively presenting and managing project updates.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and implement cloud architecture solutions to support migration initiatives.
Oversee the transition from VMware to Hyper-V within Azure environments.
Collaborate with IT teams, stakeholders, and business units to ensure a smooth migration process.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices for cloud infrastructure.
Identify and resolve potential technical challenges during migration.
Regularly present project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Required Qualifications :
10 years of experience as a Cloud Architect, specializing in Azure technology .
10 years working within Microsoft environments .
Strong hands-on experience with Hyper-V and Azure cloud migrations .
Ability to manage complex cloud migration projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications :
Healthcare industry experience (a plus).
Familiarity with EPIC Software .
Microsoft Azure Certifications .
Work Authorization : U.S. Citizens
