RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Payroll
- Remitting payroll, income, sales and use taxes
- Maintaining payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data
- Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits
- Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave and non taxable wages
- AP
- Pay invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling, preparing disbursements and obtaining authorization of payment
- AR
- Create all invoices
- Collect revenue by reminding delinquent accounts and notifying customers of insufficient payments.
- AIA requisitions
- Handling Federal & State Taxes
- Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
- Bank Reconciliation & Reporting
- Credit card reconciliation
- Tracking bank account balances
- Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
- Managing employee expense claims
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years of general bookkeeping and AR/AP experience
- Associates degree in Accounting/Finance or related field is strongly preferred, equivalent work experience may be considered
- Computer literacy, especially familiarity with spreadsheets, databases and accounting software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, QuickBooks Desktop and ADP
- Reconciliation abilities
- Ability to prioritize in a fast paced, team environment Excel, Word and Outlook creating spreadsheets
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent Record keeping
- Good attention to detail to enter correct data into financial records and recognize errors
- Administrative skills for filing financial records
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills to manage different financial duties, including the ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
