Summary
We are seeking a skilled Matrimonial Paralegal to join our team at Bloom & Bloom PC. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our attorneys with various legal tasks, contributing to the successful management of cases.
Responsibilities:
- Track legal proceedings and communicate regularly with clients, court personnel, and third parties as needed
- Assist with the drafting, EFiling, and service of legal documents, including but not limited to, Pleadings, Statements of Net Worth, Motions, Discovery, Trial Notebooks and Final Divorce Documents
- Manage deadlines and organize case file in connection with Attorney Court Appearances and Trials
- Manage, compile, and organize electronically client information and case documents
Qualifications:
- at least three (3) to five (5) years of previous experience as a matrimonial paralegal
- Self-starter and proactive thinker
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Assist attorneys with case preparation
- Manage legal documents and track file details for ongoing cases
- Regular communication with clients, counsel, and court personnel
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Matrimonial and/or Family Law case management is essential.
- Microsoft Word proficient
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
