**Key Responsibilities & Front Desk Expectations:**
As the first point of contact at Bloom Organic Luxury Salon, you will play a critical role in setting the tone for our clients' experiences. Your attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to customer service will ensure that each guest receives a memorable visit.
- **Greeting Guests**: Greet every guest with a warm smile and a friendly, “Welcome to Bloom Salon, how may I assist you?”
- **Phone Etiquette**: Answer all phone calls promptly with, “Thank you for calling Bloom Salon, this is [Your Name], to whom do I have the pleasure of speaking with? How are you doing today?”
- **Offer Complimentary Beverages**: Always offer a complimentary beverage upon guest arrival.
- **Appointment Management**: Book and rebook appointments for clients. Understand how to properly book and double book to optimize stylist schedules.
- **Booking & Cancellation Policies**: Enforce Bloom's booking and cancellation policies to ensure efficient scheduling and client satisfaction.
- **Ticket Checks**: Ensure stylist tickets match VISH charges and services rendered for accurate transactions.
- **Maintain Cleanliness**: Keep the front of the salon neat and organized by rotating retail products, sweeping throughout the day, and keeping windows fingerprint-free.
- **Retail Management**: Rotate and keep retail products polished, restock business and promotional cards, and maintain inventory. Notify when supplies are running low.
- **Client Communication**: Confirm unconfirmed appointments, respond to salon emails, check the salon’s Facebook messages, and make follow-up calls to new clients.
- **Money Handling**: Count cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, balancing as needed. Maintain proper change and restock items as required.
- **Salon Support**: Assist with laundry duties, check hot towels, and ensure the coffee and tea bar is well-stocked.
- **Professional Appearance**: Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to salon dress code, with hair and makeup always presentable.
- **Efficiency in Downtime**: During slow periods, proactively check for booking errors, confirm appointments, or complete necessary tasks without delay.
- **No Phones or Gossiping**: Stay focused and engaged during shifts. No personal phone usage or gossiping allowed – there is always something to do to maintain the salon’s smooth operation.
