People & Talent Associate at Series B Startup

High-growth, Series B startup is looking for a People & Talent Associate to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit, global team of 26 with a lot of room for growth! You will partner with the People Operations Lead to drive recruiting and employee experience initiatives by reviewing resumes, scheduling candidate interviews, tracking pipelines, working with hiring managers to optimize processes, and helping plan team off-sites and other employee engagement events to enhance company culture. Someone with a startup mentality who is an excellent organizer, solutions-oriented, and works well independently. Responsibilities:

• Oversee recruiting operations including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
• Vet candidate resumes from job boards, job postings, and inbounds.
• Go above and beyond to ensure an exceptional experience for all candidates.
• Partner with hiring managers on recruiting needs.
• Streamline and implement processes to track and maintain the recruiting pipeline and metrics.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and planning company off-sites.
• Act as a culture champion to enhance experience such as celebrating milestones, organizing team-building events, etc.
• Support People Operations Lead on ad hoc projects. 

• 2 years of recruiting coordination or similar role, preferably in a small, fast-paced startup.
• Strong project management skills with keen attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and generally a strong people person. 
• Go-getter with strong follow-through. 
• Startup mentality, can-do attitude to jump in and help where needed.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with modern HR tools (ATS, HRIS, etc.).
• Proven track record of process improvement and automation.
