Unicorn SaaS startup providing an AI-powered platform for customers to collaborate is looking for a VP of Business Operations to work directly with their CFO in a critical strategic leadership role. This person will architect the foundation for operational excellence as this company moves towards IPO readiness, driving large-scale initiatives and establishing standardized systems across the organization for how they work, perform, execute, and communicate. Someone who has done this before at a similar-sized SaaS company who comes with an idea of best practices and a playbook to pull from. This role requires an experienced, strategic operator who understands GTM & EPD interlocks with strong analytical skills, SaaS knowledge, and previous experience in business ops, strategy, consulting, or financial planning. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, 2 days / week in the office with the team. 250-280K DOE generous equity, bonus, and benefits!
Responsibilities :
- Drive the development and optimization of the company's core operations processes, enhancing business performance and operational efficiency.
- Partner with senior leadership to drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement on the company's strategic priorities.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team while cultivating a collaborative and innovative culture.
- Oversee company-wide operating rhythm orchestration, including monthly operating reviews, cadence, and annual company planning to ensure alignment with strategic vision.
- Manage performance execution and drive operational excellence across the business, including implementing planning and reporting systems, goal management frameworks, and decision-making processes.
- Define and implement effective strategies and work models that maximize employee communication, collaboration, and productivity across the organization.
- Lead large-scale strategic initiatives, such as international expansion, project and program management, and IPO preparation with cross-functional oversight.
- Establish and track KPIs and key business metrics to measure success and drive improvements across departments.
- Leverage work practices and systems to enable operating efficiencies and data-driven decision-making.
