Job Summary:
We are seeking a Part-time 12:00PM - 5:00PM dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Material Handler & Customer Support Specialist at Bloomer Trailers Mfg., Inc. This role involves a variety of tasks, including accurately counting and tracking materials, shipping orders, unloading delivery orders using a fork-lift or dolly, answering customer inquiries via phone, and assisting with other miscellaneous tasks to support the smooth operation of the business. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to contribute to a range of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Material Handling: Accurately count, track, and organize raw materials and parts used in the Warehouse | Plant | Office manufacturing setting.
- Shipping & Receiving: Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers and suppliers. Maintain proper documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments. (as needed)
- Customer Support: Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from customers regarding product availability, order status, and general product information. (as needed)
- Inventory Management: Monitor and update inventory records, notify management of low stock, and assist with inventory audits as needed.
- Miscellaneous Administrative Tasks: Assist with various administrative duties including filing, data entry, and other tasks as assigned.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Warehouse| Plant | Office teams to ensure materials are available and orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Maintain Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in material handling, fork-lift, customer service, or administrative support is (Required)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication and phone etiquette.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of equine products or horse trailers is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a Warehouse | Plant | Office manufacturing setting environment with varying temperatures.
Work Environment: This position is based in a Warehouse | Plant | Office manufacturing setting. Business casual attire. The employee will work with production and office staff additionally will need to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
