Position: Title I Teacher (Grades KG - 5th)
Bloomfield School District is looking for a dynamic elementary Title I teacher to work cooperatively with Bloomfield Elementary School staff. Duties will include:
- Planning a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of students.
- Developing and maintaining a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
- Utilizing performance objectives as a guide for instruction and as assurance of equal educational opportunity for all students, establishes objectives for all language arts lessons and activities as determined by the needs and abilities of each individual student.
- Employing instructional methods and materials that are appropriate for meeting objectives.
- Must be willing to receive Orton-Gillingham training.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a valid Indiana teaching license (Elementary Generalist).
- Must have strong leadership and communication skills.
- Such additional qualifications as the Board or the state of Indiana requires.
