We are looking for a Landscape/Irrigation Manager to oversee hiring and managing landscape /irrigation employees, selling, and retaining landscape/ irrigation jobs, and designing/installing in-ground systems and enhancing customers properties. In other words you got to be well educated, hard working, and respectable. I know there’s someone out there that has been overlooked and constantly denied the opportunity they deserve.

The shift hours would be Monday-Friday 6am-4pm. Sometimes the work will be 4 days at 10 hour shifts, and sometimes 8 hour days and 5 days a week.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify, recruit, train, develop and retain top talent within your department so that your team delivers excellence for all stakeholders

Responsible for all business aspects of this division. Has overall responsibility for operations, quality control of the landscape, irrigation, and commercial services

Responsible for overseeing the management of the scheduling of all current and on-going landscaping/irrigation maintenance and commercial service work

Inspecting properties prior to scheduled services and prepare specific action plans for service, adjusting service schedules as needed

Provide on-site quality control and project management to ensure that project stays on schedule and in compliance

Manage scheduling of the maintenance and approval of shared company resources (tools, trucks and manpower) between crews

General on-site supervision of all landscape/irrigation/commercial supervisors

and field workers on all jobs in progress from conception to punch list sign-offs.

Execute large irrigation upgrades and scale modifications.

Maintain good communication with the client and team members.

Exceed customer expectations for product quality, availability, and timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Manage industry compliance in accordance with all applicable safety guidelines and company policies

Maintain administrative continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs

Ensuring that job site quality and appearance meet Bloomhouse and customers expectations

Managing all landscape/irrigation services, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality work

Monitoring irrigation systems, identifying problems or necessary repairs, and communicating recommendations to the appropriate party

Monitoring all aspects of the landscape services and identifying insect or disease problems

Hands-on training and support of crew employees, including proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards

As necessary, performing hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands

Implementing and enforcing Bloomhouse policies and procedures related to the proper upkeep and maintenance, storage, use, and training required for company equipment

Working with the Account Manager to identify staffing needs, hire new crew employees, and prepare daily crew schedules

Implementing methods to improve safe workplace practices and monitoring safety records

Maintaining and managing all required administrative systems, including time sheets and service schedules

Coordinating with the Office Manager to ensure CRM are consistently updated with current client information

Ordering materials as needed and monitor costs and deliveries

Requesting purchase orders and use in accordance with company guidelines

LICENSES CERTIFICATIONS

Irrigation management: 5 years

Landscape/Irrigation Installation: 5 years

Landscape Maintenance: 2 years

Class C driver license with a clean driving record required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Exceptional knowledge of commercial properties management

Must be computer literate

Understands principles of irrigation and/or landscape products

Excellent oral and written communication skills and Strong Organizational Skills.

Ability to analyze job cost/benefit of issues and to assess risk to make profitable business decisions.

Ability to lead and train irrigation/landscape technician and field employees

The ability to work collaboratively with people very different from yourself with humility and authenticity

New Construction Bidding experience a must

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (all required to be done for up to 8 hours or more a day):

While performing the essential duties of the job, the position requires physical abilities such as heavy lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, wrist-finger movement, digging using a shovel. In addition, working conditions include inadequate lighting, restricted movement, dirty environment, air contamination, extreme temperatures, intense noise, hazardous materials, or lifting or carrying heavy objects. The employee must be physically coherent and aware at all times especially when dealing with heavy machinery, equipment or while driving.

The role will require supervising multiple teams, each with 3-5 people in each team. To service client properties for landscaping services providing mowing, detailing and trimming and more. And supervising irrigation and landscape teams of 2-5 people each.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
