- Cardiac Sonographer Job Description
o The Registered Cardiac Sonographer works directly with patients using several types of ultrasound techniques to obtain high quality cardiac images. Works closely with Cardiologist assisting in transesophageal echocardiography and stress echoes.
- Cardiac Sonographer Job Summary
o Education and/or experience: Graduate of ultrasound school with an Associate of Science degree. Registered or registry eligible.
o Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of ultrasound physics and instrumentation. Medical terminology, especially cardiac and ultrasonic terms. Extensive knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
