Description
High Risk OB office seeking a full-time Sonographer to join our team. This is a full-time position (36-40 hours) with travel to multiple office locations. Initial travel sites will include LaFollette, Morristown, and Sweetwater. The sonographer will complete a variety of ultrasounds including, but not limited to, BPP, Anatomy, Growth, Fetal Wellbeing, and Fetal Echo with Maternal-Fetal Medicine provider participating in visit via telehealth..
Responsibilities:
- Perform perinatal ultrasounds including fetal anatomical surveys, assess fetal well-being, doppler studies and first trimester screens.
- May also assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS
- Explains procedures to patients and addresses their concerns
- Monitors, records, and communicates as appropriate utilizing GE Viewpoint system
- Communicates ultrasound findings to providers in a clear and concise manner
- Maintains a high standard of medical ethics, including HIPAA
Salary above 90th percentile for field and benefit package available.
Requirements
- OB experience, preferably high-risk OB
- ARDMS Registered in OB/GYN
- Graduate of accredited Ultrasound Program
