Veterinary Technician Needed - Certified or Licensed Preferred

If you are, you just might be the person we are looking for to become part of our dedicated veterinary team. We are a busy fast-paced, one doctor practice that prides itself on teamwork and taking a warm and caring approach towards our clients and patients.
We are looking for a personable, intelligent, capable Licensed or Certified Veterinary Technician! If you are not certified or licensed, then at least 2 years of experience is required. Salary based on certification and experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
- License/Certification in Veterinary Technology or 2 years of experience
- Ability to run in-house Laboratory equipment, perform urinalysis, cytologies, etc
- Ability to anesthetize and monitor patients for and during surgery
- Perform blood draws, intravenous catheter placements, administer treatments, etc
- Deliver care with compassion
- Help with client education
- Communicate clearly and in a positive manner
- Optimistic, positive outlook and personality
- Must be customer service oriented and friendly
- Basic computer literacy skills and ability multitask while working in a busy environment
- Must also be able to lift 50 pounds, and work on feet all day
- Professional appearance required; scrubs are required
