Description : Building and Land Technology "BLT" is seeking a Real Estate Asset Management Associate to join our dynamic Asset Management team in Stamford, CT. The primary function of this role is to create and execute the business plans for BLT’s portfolio of apartment communities. The Associate will assist in all aspects of the operations, administrative, financial, and capital management of the portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Real Estate Associate :
- Assist in the preparation and execution of business plans and budgets for each asset
- Perform financial modeling, analysis, market studies and industry standard reporting (e.g., variance reporting, discounted cash flows, waterfall modeling, IRR’s, etc.)
- Track all KPI’s for the portfolio, identify opportunities for improvement, and execute
- Prepare property operating budgets and monthly operating statements
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual reporting on the portfolio for internal and external constituents
- Provide support to our capital markets efforts for financings, acquisitions, and dispositions
- Provide support to our property management and leasing teams
- Extensively research relevant markets / trends
- Regular inspections of all assets
