Accounting Manager

Here is what you would do in the Accounting Manager role:
- Plan and manage workflows, scheduling, and training of staff and senior accountants in the accounting department
- Regular review/analysis of GAAP and OCBOA financial statement compilations and preparations
- Assist staff with compiling and preparation of financial statements
- Assemble various technical accounting policies and procedures
- Stay current on various client accounting software platforms and assist staff
- Continually learn and become a subject matter expert in your area(s) of interest
Here are the qualifications you should bring to the table:
- CPA designation required
- 5-9 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar public accounting firm position preferred
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage engagements, prioritize engagements, and supervise/motivate staff
- Proven financial, analytical, technical and interpersonal skills
