Administrative Assistant- Seasonal

This seasonal position requires the availability to work during tax busy season mid-February through April 15th.  

This is a full-time temporary role to assist with the following during tax season which ends April 15. Below is the detailed work you’ll do:

  • Scanning both paper & electronic tax documents
  • Scanning & saving certified mail receipts to CCH Axcess Document 
  • Mailing client documents back once the return is completed
  • Saving accepted tax returns to Document
  • Save tax extensions batch to Document
  • Save engagement letters in Document
  • Prepping labels for certified mail
  • Mailing documents via USPS & UPS 
  • Assisting with distribution of mail, as needed
  • Assisting with vendor deliveries, as needed
  • The hours will be 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday in the Indianapolis Office.
  • Parking is paid
  • You’ll be working primarily in the workroom. There will be a lot of standing.
  • The dress is business casual Mondays through Thursdays. Fridays allow for more casual dress.
  • There could potentially be overtime although it won’t be a requirement.

 Position Requirements:   

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and changing deadlines; highly detail oriented.
  • Prior experience in an Administrative Assistant/Office Administration role within in a professional services environment.
  • Excellent professional communication skills; comfortable communicating with all levels within an organization.
  • Self-starter, deadline driven individual who is technologically savvy with a strong attention to details.
  • CCH Axcess Document a plus.
  • Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, stand and sit for long periods of time and the use of a desktop computer.
