What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Assistant Temporary Remote position at Blue Balloon ABA?
This role is a temporary role M-F 20 hours per week. This is a remote role, but candidates must live in one of the following states: NC, MD, AZ, NJ, IL, FL, MO, TX.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Create all documents that need to be in Paylocity and upload and assist with workflow approval and development (examples, competency checklists, admin evaluations) find trainings for employees and supervisors.
- LOA/FMLA/COBRA documentation (management on temp basis and assist with set up in Paylocity
- Assist with ACA/Benefits Module set up in Paylocity
- Assist with overall set up in Paylocity
- Draft any new process/ P&P for HR Director
- Draft internal company documents for HR Director (i.e. Job Descriptions, etc.)
- Auditing HR and Payroll records
- Completes weekly/bi-weekly/monthly reports as needed
- Project assistance
- Other related duties/tasks as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Appropriate experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
- Previous experience in the ABA field strongly preferred; non-profit and/or healthcare field also preferred/considered
- Demonstrated success in performing administrative functions
- Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines at once
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), applicant tracking system (ATS) and similar computer applications
