We are hiring a Scheduling Coordinator/RBT for our new EI Center in Beltsville. This is an on-site, M-F position from 7:30AM-4PM. We are excited to find an experienced RBT who can work as a RBT & assist in the scheduling department as well! We anticipate that the Scheduler/RBT will spend about 50% of their time on scheduling and 50% of their time delivering ABA therapy to kiddos as an RBT, time split between scheduling and direct services will be at the discretion of the center and operational needs each day.
Duties and Responsibilities
Scheduling
- Creating/updating daily/weekly and monthly technician and client schedules
- Accurate data entry and communication recorded in EHR and other software
- Updating client availability for therapy
- Input, update, and exercise discretion to modify client schedules as needed
- Exercise discretion to schedule clients appropriately, maximizing their authorization
- Communicating all schedules changes with entire team including family, RBT, and BCBA
- Auditing all parts of EHR for accurately and completeness
- Identify scheduling and staffing adjustments necessary, and address accordingly
- Use judgement in coordinating schedules of other professionals (SLP, OT, psychologist, social worker, etc.)
- Greeting parents and families as they enter the center
- Administrative tasks as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
RBT
- Provide intensive one-on-one therapy to children with ASD
- Implement behavior acquisition and behavior reduction plans
- Conduct stimulus preference assessments
- Collect data
- Maintain client's program book
- Develop/create teaching materials
- Provide basic care to the clients (e.g., toileting, eating)
- Discuss client's daily progress with parents/caretakers
- Work with BCBA to implement individualized goals and checklists
- Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
- Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients
- Maintain technical and professional knowledge with continuing education
Minimum Requirements:
- Background check clearance upon hire
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Active RBT Certification
- EMR experience required; ABA EMR/EHR experience strongly preferred
- Previous experience with scheduling
- Strong communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Flexibility with working in start-up environments; comfortable with changing workflows/duties/responsibilities and helping the team wherever the need is identified
