As the account specialist, you will perform assigned duties within payable/receivable, collections, and maintaining accounting records.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Having proficiency in Excel, attention to detail, organizational skills as well as customer service skills are a plus to excel in this position.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepares, posts, verifies, and records all customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
- Create invoices according to company practices; submit invoices to customers.
- Maintains and updates customer files.
- Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections.
- Identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts accountholders to request payment.
- Collect receipts and expense credit cards.
- Floor plan funding and balancing
- Petty cash tracking for all locations.
- Balance short-term and long-term debt.
- Balance and collect outstanding rebates and warranty payments.
- Prepare reports for management.
Having proficiency in Excel, attention to detail, organizational skills as well as customer service skills are a plus to excel in this position.
Education and Experience:
- Accounting or finance degree.
- One year or more experience preferred but not required.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
