Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, maintaining a clean bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and alcohol service laws.
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process orders and payments accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support catering events or special functions as required.
Skills
- Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling cash register transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Previous experience in fine dining or catering environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
