Business Analyst
Location : Hybrid (Must be local to Michigan)
Overview :
We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst who will be responsible for understanding business needs, gathering requirements, mapping data flows, and providing end-to-end support for ongoing data projects.
Position Responsibilities :
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with diverse business and technical audiences for complex data projects.
- Translate business needs into user stories, storyboards, process flows, and functional requirements in tools like JIRA.
- Collaborate with technical teams (data engineers, cloud engineers, analytics engineers) to map data sources, document data flows, and address data ingestion requirements.
- Proactively identify and map data sources, ensuring alignment with business metrics and objectives.
- Provide insights into data warehousing, data migration, and data mapping processes, enabling informed decision-making.
- Work with business and technical teams to resolve data flow challenges, ensuring data privacy and compliance with regulations.
- Write SQL queries to validate data, analyze results, and support decision-making processes.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to support technical development and business process improvement.
