IT Help Desk (SAP, VMware)_2 yrs exp _ Onsite - Moraine, OH (Night shift)
- This role provides IT and systems support on third shift at the facility, responsible for keeping production running by resolving tech issues and supporting plant systems.
- IT Help Desk Support _ Customer service experience in a manufacturing environment; strong people skills
- 2 5 years of experience in IT, Technology, or Network support
- Hands-on network skills including Windows, Active Directory, and asset setup
- Associate s degree in IT or Technology field required (Bachelor s preferred)
- 2 5 years of experience in a relevant technical support role
- Hands-on experience with Windows, networking, Active Directory, hardware setup
Responsibilities
- Support for GE Cimplicity, .Net Applications, SAP, MS Office, and VMware
- Troubleshoot and maintain network, server, PC, and iPad hardware/software
- Create and maintain network and SAP accounts
- Assist with equipment procurement, setup (e.g., iPads, scanners) Functional support for non-SAP applications (e.g., ConXons)
- Respond to and resolve end-user issues, referencing documented guides.
- This team supports basic help desk functions such as hardware replacement, account maintenance, and equipment setup for manufacturing operations.
Typical Day
The individual will work independently on third shift, handling issues that arise on the assembly line, troubleshooting hardware or application problems, and supporting ongoing projects. Documentation is provided to guide resolution of common issues. Training will be provided during first shift for the first week.
