What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Daycare Attendant - Lead position at Blue Collar Doghouse?
We are looking for a motivated, hard-working dog professional to lead our pack. Blue Collar Doghouse is a dog daycare, grooming, and kennel free boarding facility located in the heart of downtown Edmonds.
Our daycare lead’s responsibilities includes overseeing and maintaining safe dog play, overseeing behavior assessments, client communication, behavior analysis, record keeping, and more to ensure safe daycare operations.
We are veterinary technician owned and safety focused. The safety of the dog always comes first, we depend heavily on our handlers to ensure this safety! We need someone with a strong work ethic and passion to join our team! Our daycare lead shift is Monday-Friday from 7am-2pm and starts at $18-21/hr depending on experience and may pay higher for candidates who hold a dog training or behavior certification. The position starts with 40 hours of PTO per year after the first 60 days. Our team also have the luxury of beinging their dogs to work once they pass our behavioral assesment!
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience working with groups of off leash dogs in a professional setting is required.
- Must be reliable. Due to our kennel free environment and in order to maintain safe operations daily, we are unable to offer employment to those who cannot reliably show up on time for their shifts.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
