Blue Collars is a new, fast growing Emergency Service Plumbing & HVAC company serving the greater Charleston area. We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Entry-Level Controller to join our dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build their career in accounting and finance while playing a key role in overseeing the company's financial performance.
As an Entry-Level Controller, you will be responsible for managing the company's entire P&L, as well as overseeing accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP). This is a hands-on role that will allow you to gain valuable experience in financial reporting, analysis, and day-to-day operations of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities :
- P &L Management : Oversee and manage the entire Profit and Loss statement, including monitoring revenue and expenses, ensuring accurate reporting, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and financial improvements.
- Accounts Receivable (AR) : Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of customer payments.
- Accounts Payable (AP) : Oversee the accounts payable process, including processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and managing vendor relationships.
- Financial Reporting : Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and cash flow reports.
- Cash Flow Management : Assist with cash flow forecasting and management to ensure the company's financial health.
- Reconciliation : Perform regular account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Internal Controls : Help ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets.
- Collaboration : Work closely with senior management, auditors, and other departments to support business decisions and ensure financial accuracy.
- Ad-Hoc Projects : Assist with various financial analysis and special projects as needed.
