The Indianola Community Wellness Center Manager is responsible for leading the operational functions of the Indianola Community Wellness Center to ensure consistent achievement of day to day operations and an optimal customer experience for members. Principle responsibilities include ensuring daily operational needs are met through continuous monitoring of center's activities, services, staff scheduling, inventory maintenance, policies and procedures compliance and oversight and guidance of staff. The Indianola Community Wellness Center Manager also facilitates communication, coordination and collaboration expectations with the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi Health and Wellness team.
Job-Specific Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, health care administration or related field required.
- Minimum of one year in a fitness center or comparable setting.
- Minimum of one year in a supervisory or management position preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure a professional image is projected at all times.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills required.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.
