Blue Cross of Idaho has an opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). Our HR Business Partners serve as the external face of HR to our leaders, managers and employees and is part of our larger HR Operations team. This role will primarily support our member and clinical operational areas and is considered an integral part of our leadership teams. Additionally, the HRBP role is responsible for creating a connection and partnership with business leaders and HR, providing consultation to key strategies in the areas of talent, workforce planning and organizational design.
To Be Considered For This Opportunity, You Need
Experience: Six years of exempt-level Human Resource experience providing HR support to employee populations. Experience to include talent management, organizational development/effectiveness, employee relations and organizational change experience.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related, or equivalent work experience (Two years relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

- Leverage HR metrics and data to positively influence retention, training, and engagement
- Execute programs and processes centered around talent management, workforce planning and employee experience
- Collaborate with leaders to build capability and develop employees by creating the right talent, right leadership and right culture
- Partner with leaders on organization design and capability planning.
- Conduct needs analyses to identify and establish priorities regarding human resources plans and development activities
- Partner with leadership to create and implement HR plans and change initiatives
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to identify staffing requirements needed to meet the goals and objectives of the organization; work with business leaders to participate in activities to promote the hiring and retention of a qualified and diverse workforce
- Facilitate, participate in and develop action plans arising out of the company's talent management process
- Partner with leaders to establish proactive employee culture and communications initiatives, such as Listening Sessions, Town Hall Meetings, leadership assimilations etc.
- Implement and facilitate training programs (face-to-face, or computer based training) as required
- Work with managers to ensure fair and consistent application of work place policies and programs
- Support compliance to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations; partner with HR Operations team to ensure investigation and resolution of employee complaints, issues and concerns; partner with internal/external legal counsel to respond to and defend lawsuits and complaints filed with outside agencies
