Senior Brand Manager is responsible for delivering success of Innovation financial objectives for the Emerging Business Segment. This role is responsible for supporting the ongoing generation of the Emerging Business Pipeline and leading commercialization efforts to achieve volume and profit growth objectives.RESPONSIBILITIES:
What You'll Do:
- Be a Business Lead that:
- Manages Innovation Strategic Plan and Innovation P&Ls for the Emerging Innovation business segment
- Own and support the 5-yr strategic growth plan
- Own and manage the annual AOP to meet volume, revenue and profit goals
- Evaluate pipeline portfolio and optimize for profitability and growth
- Ensure budget compliance and timely and accurate reporting
- Leads innovation projects linked to strategic blueprints and multi-year growth platforms
- Takes innovation initiatives from concept through to launch.
- Builds a deep understanding of the brand and the consumer
- Leverages insights research and analyzes market data to identify and define opportunities
- Drives P&L development for the new businesses and evaluates alternatives to meet financial launch hurdles
- Creates smart go-to-market strategies that leverage Blue Diamond's existing strengths while leading teams to develop new muscle
- Leads project cross functional teams - manages communications and project details including Stage-Gate documents, timelines, meeting agendas, notes, etc.
- Generates product and package specifications, new item codes, UPC codes, etc.
- Creates presentations to onboard internal stakeholders and facilitate sales calls
- Represents innovation marketing in key account sales calls as needed
- Provides continuity and support to Brand & Sales Teams as they take responsibility of new product launches
- Manages Innovation Strategic Plan and Innovation P&Ls for the Emerging Innovation business segment

Education / Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
- 6 years of CPG Brand Management or Marketing or Innovation experience, 10 years total relevant experience
- Minimum of 4 years of commercial CPG Innovation or related experience
- Familiarity with traditional consumer research methodologies including CLTs, focus groups, concept tests, etc.
- Experience in accessing and analyzing iRi/SPINs data
- Experience in working with agencies (advertising, media, packaging, etc.) & external partners (development, manufacturing)

- Certified Project Manager
- Knowledge of SAP
PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Office demands include extensive use of telephone and computer
WORK ENVIRONMENT - Position highly collaborative and at times demanding; time may be spent working outside of office. Travel required 5-10% of the time.
