Job Description:
As an Armed Security Guard at Blue Eagle Security, you will be responsible for safeguarding the cannabis dispensary, its staff, and patrons. Your primary role will involve enforcing security measures, and responding to incidents as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to upholding the highest standards of security.
Responsibilities:
- Enforce security protocols, including access control and visitor verification.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or any suspicious activities on the premises.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security-related activities.
- Interact professionally with dispensary staff, customers, and visitors.
- Sunday 10am-8pm
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed and certified Armed Security Guard in the state of New York.
- Previous experience in armed security, preferably in retail or cannabis industry settings.
- Strong knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and professionally.
- Familiarity with local and state cannabis regulations is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training is advantageous.
Requirements:
- Valid New York State Armed Security Guard license
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
