Position Overview: As an Armed Security Guard at a Health Facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of staff, patients, and visitors. You will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, responding to security incidents, and maintaining a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol hospital premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, unauthorized access, or suspicious activity.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms systems to identify potential security threats.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals.
- Escort staff, patients, and visitors to and from parking areas, especially during late hours or in high-risk situations.
- Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches, accidents, or incidents, documenting findings and providing reports as necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders during critical situations.
- Enforce hospital policies and procedures related to security, safety, and emergency response.
- Provide assistance and support to staff during crisis situations, including lockdowns, evacuations, and medical emergencies.
- 3pm-11pm and 11pm- 7am shifts available.
Must Have: New York State Armed Security Guard License
Prior Law Enforcement preferred.
Background check will be conducted prior to employment
