Job Summary:
Primary responsibility for growing Federal Law Enforcement (FEDLE)and Special Operations (SOCOM) prospect by driving sales and pipeline. Build relationships with FEDLE and SOCOM key stakeholders. Provides a broad range of sales and support services to internal departments and external customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction is attained, according to established company standards. Conducts sales both in the office via conference calls, phone calls, and emails and out in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers. Responsible for offering the best product possible specific training as well as customer experience. Works as an ambassador for the BFG brand and is responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers based on assigned territory as well as within the industry.
Job Components:
Major Responsibilities
- Presents promotes and sells products/services to existing and prospective customers.
- Generates leads with Federal Law Enforcement and Special Operations sales
- Maintain a healthy Sales Pipeline in Salesforce
- Meets (preferably exceeds) sales goals
- Supports and reports to Government Sales Director
- Ensures all customer information, outreach, and opportunities are well maintained and up to date in the CRM.
- Plan and attend ride alongs with Prime Vendors
- Attends trade shows and training as needed.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
College degree in Business or Marketing preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
Previous Experience:
- Must have three or more years of direct work experience in a customer service, sales or telesales capacity • Must have knowledge of tactical gear, weapons systems, and training industry • Knowledge of government contracts, military and/or federal agencies a plus • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management
- Experience with customer relationship management software a plus
Competencies and Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and CRM systems
- Effective time management
- Exceptional verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated
- Proven ability to achieve goals and objectives
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment
