Your Responsibilities as an Inside Order Taker:
- Order Processing: Receive customer orders over the phone and in person, ensuring accurate entry into our point-of-sale system.
- Customer Guidance: Help customers navigate available products, answer questions, and provide recommendations as needed.
- Order Confirmation: Repeat orders back to customers for confirmation before finalizing the sale.
- Custom Requests: Address special requests or requirements, ensuring that the customer’s needs are met.
- Payment Handling: Accept payments via cash, credit cards, or other methods, and provide receipts.
- Customer Details: Update customer records to ensure future orders are streamlined.
- Problem-Solving: Answer questions, resolve minor complaints, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Follow Guidelines: Ensure all orders are processed accurately in line with company policies and promotions.
- Other Duties: Handle additional tasks as needed to support the team.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- 2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or order-taking.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in every order you take.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic data entry.
- Friendly & Professional: Maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor at all times.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to calculate order totals and handle payments correctly.
- Multitasking Ability: Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours.
