Job Summary:
This position is responsible for washing and drying all laser cut parts that are used to produce BFG tactical gear items. This position performs multiple tasks ranging from operating commercial laundry equipment to counting, sorting and evaluating all laser cut products to ensure BFG quality standards are met.
Job Components:
Major Responsibilities
- Operates Wash/Dry machinery to clean all Laser cut parts
- Manage Wash/dry priority checklists to ensure timeliness and completion of all orders.
- Conduct visual, quality assessments of all cut parts to ensure appropriate standards are being maintained.
- Rejects unacceptable product and alerts Laser Operators immediately to rectify.
- Separate, count and tag Washed/dried items and placed in assigned area for transfer.
- Check equipment to make sure washers and dryers are working properly
- Reports problems to Lead or Manager immediately.
- Inspect work surface area before and after washing to ensure the area is free of any dirt or debris.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and flooring to adhere to all sanitation requirements.
- Supports 6S initiative by keeping assigned work area clean.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies needed to effectively wash and dry items daily.
- Work with cross-functional teams to expedite orders as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
