Job Summary:
Laser Production Coordinators will work together to support the production floor and Planning/Warehouse departments in moving and organizing cut parts as needed for production demands. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate systematic inventory data which informs planning actions and events.
Job Components:
Major Responsibilities
Monitor incoming work from the Laser Production department to ensure cut parts meet quality standards, and output counts match production order requirements.
Stage cut parts for transfer to production areas or put-away into predetermined inventory locations; perform Business Central system actions to match physical part movements.
Perform Business Central system tasks critical to production orders (creation, monitoring, finishing)
Monitor finished good production requests to ensure timely assembly, staging and movement of all cut parts to match demands.
Perform regularly scheduled inventory audits to ensure a high degree of accuracy.
Maintain organized cut part inventory/shelf stock.
Assist with inbound raw material and cut part inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Acquire proficient knowledge of textiles/materials used in production to ensure proper/accurate identification.
Acquire proficient knowledge of various styles/PN to successfully identify cut parts
Ability to move bins and parcels weighing up to 50 lbs.
Create, read and understand Business Central-generated Production Orders, Bill of Material (PBOMs), and various pick sheets.
Report on daily status of outputs, KPI’s and scheduling of laser production weekly.
Follow/support 6S initiatives and comply with all safety standards; maintain clean work area.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements: High school diploma or GED
Previous Experience:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Primarily Word & Excel)
Experience in working in an inventory control and process-focused environment.
Proficient in operating computers.
Experience working in an ERP/inventory management system is a benefit, but not required.
