Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing inventory, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed and tracking usage.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health codes.
- Assist with banquet services as required, including setup and breakdown of events.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing and payment transactions efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or bartending is preferred.
- Strong understanding of retail math for inventory management and pricing accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus, particularly for establishments focusing on craft beers or specialty drinks.
- Experience in fine dining settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
