Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with guests, providing excellent guest relations and service to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper accounting for all sales.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and ensure responsible serving practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender in the food industry, preferably in nightlife or fine dining environments.
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Excellent guest services skills with the ability to build rapport with patrons.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
