REQUIREMENTS :
- Previous experience not required training and certification will be provided in-house / off-site
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for longer periods of time
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork
- Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures
- Successful completion of Swim Instructor training is required during initial on-boarding training (training provided on-site)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility and communicate the rules of the facility
- Ensure that medical services are contacted by appropriate means when necessary to respond to an emergency
- Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
- Present professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain a high standard of customer service
- Provide swim instructions based on the Blue Gems Swim School curriculum
- Perform various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility
- Assist with closing and securing the facility
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
